Employee transportation touches hundreds of your people every morning, and when it fails it turns directly into lost production. Ask these 7 questions before choosing a staff transportation company:
1. Are the licences complete?
Request and verify the company's transport licences and each vehicle's inspection and insurance records. An unlicensed carrier is a legal risk for your organisation too.
2. How old is the fleet, and how is it maintained?
Ask for the average fleet age and periodic maintenance records. Old, poorly maintained vehicles mean both safety risk and breakdown delays.
3. How are drivers selected?
Work with companies that require professional driving certificates, psychometric testing, penalty-point checks and regular training.
4. Is there GPS tracking and reporting?
Can you see the live location of vehicles? Is trip performance (punctuality, occupancy) reported monthly?
5. What is the backup plan?
How quickly does a backup vehicle step in after a breakdown or driver absence? Is that commitment written into the contract?
6. Are SLA and penalty terms defined?
Measurable targets such as punctuality rate — and the remedies that apply when they are missed — must be in the contract.
7. Are the references strong?
Ask about clients of similar scale and about retention; talk to current customers if possible.
At Savas Turizm we are transparent on all seven. Get a free quote and receive a route-specific plan the same day.
